COUNTRY FOLK. ROCK AND ROLL

JESSE STONE CREATCHMAN is a Canadian singer / songwriter from Montreal, QUEBEC. He grew up in the 90’s and 2000s listening to classic rock, folk revival and alternative radio.

Jesse writes great catchy songs. Just like a pop artist, he doesn’t play to the genre. He been called a Country Folk Rock and Roller. He has written hundreds of songs, played hundred of shows, performed with Jim Zeller, Slim Williams, and Justin Saladino and has opened for Jack Broadbent. In 2017, a Portuguese version of his song “Fisherman” was released by Universal recording artist Allison Lima. In 2020 just before lockdown, Jesse was invited perform at the opening ceremony of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia where he shared the stage with Canadian Juno winner Dawn Tyler Watson (Blues Record Of The Year 2020) and 2021 Juno-nominees Angel Forrest and Jonas. In spring 2021, Jesse produced the debut record DON’T DIE BEFORE YOU’RE DEAD by the band Smoke Spell, recorded and mixed by Tom Shemerr.

“Stone’s songs breathe old oxygen, intense and beautiful. Heir to the era of great poets and writer-performers of bygone days: Cohen, Dylan, and Springsteen, and also Murphy, Hiatt, or Kristofferson.” NecesitoUnRockandRoll

Radios Dead [The Album] coming November 2021

Radio’s Dead [The Album] is a genre-bending, LO-FI journey through the highs and lows of the life of the touring artist. Jesse Stone Creatchman, the wordsmith, sings songs about living in Bushwick, a wild-turn affair in Pennsylvania, some nightmarish experiences on the road, his divorce, drug abuse, his time in AA, the death of a friend, and ultimately finding solace in his roots, his music and his family. Stone lays it all on the table, the good the bad, and the ugly. The album puts Stone’s “poetic lyrical prowess and expansive stylistic range” (The Montreal Gazette 2015) on full display. The album is clever, it’s provocative and it’s got one heck of a guest list. Every song is a story on this autobiographical concept album by one of Canada's most daring and inspiring lyricists.
